Points measure how much you put in and for how long. Each usdFLOP in your wallet earns 1 point per day. The day is cut into 288 slots of 5 minutes, and each slot pays a 288th of your balance:
points per slot = usdFLOP balance / 288With 1,000 usdFLOP you get about 3.47 points every 5 minutes, 1,000 a day and 30,000 after a month. Deposit early and you have more slots behind you.
Points live off chain in our database and show up in the app and on the leaderboard. They are not a token.
#How a slot gets paid
A cron job runs every 5 minutes and pays the slot that just ended (slots line up with UTC clock time).
- It reads
balanceOfon the vault for every admitted wallet, 2 blocks behind the chain head so the RPC is sure to have that block. - It rounds each balance down to 6 decimals, so a slot never pays for more than you hold.
- It writes the slot to a ledger (
point_slots) keyed by vault and slot time. If the job runs twice, the second run finds the slot already paid and stops.
A missed or failed slot is lost. Nothing is paid back later.
usdFLOP can't be transferred for this reason. Since points come from a balance read, a movable token would let someone borrow usdFLOP for a few minutes to farm points, or buy another wallet's position. With transfers blocked, the balance in your wallet is the USDC you deposited.
#Access codes and referrals
You need a code to get in, and you only earn points once you're admitted, starting from the next slot. A deposit from a wallet that was never admitted earns nothing.
| Code | Who has it | Uses | What it does |
|---|---|---|---|
| Invite | Every admitted user | 3 | Lets three friends in. No fee share. |
| KOL affiliate | Partners (KOLs) | Set per code | Lets people in and pays the KOL a share |
| KOL onboarding | A KOL, sent by the team | 1 | Links the KOL's wallet to their KOL record |
The team keeps 10% of each user's FLOP allocation. If you joined with a KOL code that has a 3% share (the default), the KOL gets 3 of those 10 percentage points and the team keeps 7. Your own 90% stays the same either way. The share is fixed when you join, and only direct referrals count.
The team can revoke a wallet that abuses the system. It stops earning from the next slot, and if it's restored later, the missed slots stay unpaid.
#From points to FLOP
When the pool receives FLOP, the team distributes it in proportion to points, after the 10% cut. Payouts are in FLOP, never in USDC.
The payout formula is not final yet. KOL shares shown in the app are estimates until it is.
